Disappeared for 8 years

You may have asked yourself this great question: where has the Kepinski family gone?
We simply stopped the Atelier Paleo to build our own house. As a result, there was no need for a website and so no more traces of the tribe! During all these years flintknapping was always present and also the need to create, but the main occupation of our days was construction.

During the first year of the construction I was pregnant of my third child, she was rocked by the soft sound of the Bernard engine of our old crane! We lived 1 year in a military marabout and 1 year in a yurt, without toilets and hot water for 5 years, it was a very enriching adventure from all points of view, bringing us closer to the way of life of our distant ancestors, only happiness!

Yannick went through the study phase before acting and this concerns all the professions with which we have been confronted (carpenter, roofer, electrician, plumber...), because self-construction is a whole. Our house is entirely made of wood (inside and outside).

In 2007 Yannick drew the plans of the house, evaluated the volume of the wood, the number of screws, nails, the quantity of insulation... October 2008 the work begins and will be completed in July 2015.
