More Informations
Knife with a flint blade from the Bergeracois (France). The blade took on a nice violet hue after being heat treated.
The deerwood handle is glued to the blade with a prehistoric glue essentially made of resin. The ligature is made of deer tendons coated with tendon glue. On this piece the patina is light ! At the end of the handle I added a skin strap and a bone pearl.
I made the case in rawhide covered with tanned deer hide. Several pearls decorate it. The case is very soberly patinated to match the knife. At the back a link allows to hang it on the belt. As an option, a skin strap can be added to wear around the neck or as a shoulder strap.
