Intervention at the Lamothe school

Last week we intervened several times at Lamothe Primary School.

An intervention with Laurent's class (between 4 and 6 years old) for a discovery of prehistory, Cro-Magnon, animals and a prehistoric life very different from today's. At the end of the morning, it is time for the parietal painting. We have had real little artists who have painted magnificent works of art.

With Dominique's class (between 8 and 10 years old) we confirmed the children's achievements. Cro-Magnon and his life, his environmental environment. Then with real flint tools everyone made their ornaments (prehistoric jewellery) like prehistoric craftsmen.

The children finished with drawing and cavern painting, real Cro-Magnon artists!

All together, young and old alike watched with great attention the ignition of the fire by friction and percussion.

The magic was there!

Dominique wrote an article in the local newspaper.

I had a great time reading the children's file on Cro-Magnon's life! They have really done an excellent job, a real success. I am also particularly proud to have contributed to this building!

A big thank you to the children for their active participation, they were very interested and really motivated, it gives me great satisfaction and makes me love my job even more! To Laurent and also to Dominique for their hospitality and kindness and more particularly for having been the conductor of this fabulous journey to a distant past.
